Very soon, residents and visitors to Brussels will be able to see the new musical by the creative collective MUR live. On March 8 at NOVUM (ex-Theater Saint-Michel), MUR’s actors will transport you through a historical journey that spans the Club of Creative Youth, the Sixtiers movement, the People’s Movement, rallies in Lviv, the U.S. president’s visit, and the raising of the Blue-and-Yellow flag in the Verkhovna Rada. Join MUR on the journey toward the restoration of Ukrainian independence. MUR’s International Tour in 2027!

The premiere of “REBELLIA [1991]” took place in Kyiv in the summer of 2025, and in the spring of 2027, MUR will embark on an international tour with the musical. Audiences in Paris, Amsterdam, London, and Zurich and other cities will also have the chance to witness this story of the struggle for independence. In this new production, figures who became the voice and conscience of the Ukrainian resistance – including Ivan Svitlychnyi, Vasyl Stus, Viacheslav Chornovil, Alla Horska, and Ivan Drach – will come to life on stage.
